The International Lab for Local Capacity Building aims at reducing poverty in developing countries by researching into methods, algorithms, and systems to support capacity building at a local level.

The Capacity Lab is a research institution established by the United Nations University - International Institute for Software Technology (UNU-IIST) in Macau and the University of Bremen. Its particular goal is to employ information and communication technology (ICT) in a sustainable manner to achieve empowerment of local stakeholders.
