Researching Capacity Building for Poverty Reduction in Developing Countries
The International Lab for Local Capacity Building aims at reducing poverty in developing countries by researching into methods, algorithms, and systems to support capacity building at a local level. The Capacity Lab is a research institution established in 2011 by the United Nations University - International Institute for Software Technology (UNU-IIST) in Macau and the University of Bremen. Its particular goal is to employ information and communication technology (ICT) in a sustainable manner to achieve empowerment of local stakeholders. We operate various ICT projects with aims of development and poverty reduction.
